Level 2 – Learn the Art of Foiling with a Lift eFoil

Discovering how to hydrofoil unlocks a multitude of thrilling watersports, propelling you further along your path to becoming a seasoned waterman. Mastering foil skills seamlessly translates to an array of exhilarating activities, including wing foiling, kite foiling, prone foiling (where you paddle into waves with your arms, like surfing), stand-up paddle (SUP) foiling, tow foiling, windsurf foiling, and the pinnacle of foiling sports… downwind foiling.

Embarking on this journey is made effortless with the aid of a Lift eFoil and a professional instructor, particularly in the serene setting of Lopez Lake. Here, amidst tranquil waters and picturesque landscapes, you’ll find an ideal environment for honing your skills without the hindrance of changing tides, overcrowding, or fear of ocean creatures. Our expert instructor will guide you through every step, from familiarizing yourself with the electric foilboard’s operation to mastering balance and throttle control. As you gain confidence maneuvering the board and steering, we seamlessly transition to activating the foil, focusing initially on achieving straight and level flight before progressing into pitch control, yaw, and banking turns.

The thrill of eFoiling is unparalleled, offering a captivating sensation similar to flight itself. Yet, this experience is merely the beginning of your hydrofoil journey. With each graceful glide atop the water, you open doors to a myriad of foil sports and countless opportunities to revel in ideal water conditions. Much like soaring through the sky, navigating a hydrofoil evokes a sensation to floating on air above water, reminiscent of the stoke experienced on the best powder days of the snow season. Once mastered, it becomes a flow, giving your body freedom as it hovers effortlessly above the water’s surface. What are you waiting for?

Level 3 – Combine the Wing and Foil to Complete Your Training

Now that you’ve grasped the fundamentals of the wing and feel comfortable foiling, it’s time to elevate your skills to the world of wing foiling. This next phase of your journey entails refining your ability to position your body and activate the foil effectively. Our focus will be on perfecting body positioning and honing your mastery of wing control to harness maximum wind power and translate it into board speed, facilitating your ascent onto the foil.

Throughout this process, we’ll provide invaluable support, utilizing radio helmets for clear communication, and ensuring that an instructor remains in close proximity on an electric foilboard, ready to offer guidance should you require assistance with board positioning or navigating upwind. With our expert guidance and comprehensive equipment, you’ll swiftly progress from novice to and independent wing foiler. Our objective is to empower you to become a self-reliant wing foiler capable of independently setting up your gear, executing self-rescue maneuvers as needed, mastering upwind navigation, and initiating flight on foil.
