Starboard Riders Dominate Oregon SUP Race

Congratulations are in order for SUP team riders, Connor Baxter and Fiona Wylde, who won in their men and women’s divisions in The Columbia Gorge Paddle Challenge’s Double Downwinder race. Connor took first, finishing the eight mile race 30 seconds before second place winner, Bern Roediger. Fiona also took first place in the women’s division finishing the race four minutes before second place winner, Annabel Anderson.

The Starboard team had a lot to celebrate with wins in the Super Lap race as well. Four of the five top spots of the men’s division Super Lap went to Starboard riders and Fiona Wylde won third in the women’s division. The Super Lap is five times through a mile lap.

The Columbia Gorge Paddle Challenge took place in Hood River, Oregon this past weekend for it’s sixth annual time. 350 athletes competed.
