I was skeptical about purchasing this board without trying a demo first. With my weight around 200 LBS I was not sure about the 133 L volume floating me enough to have some glide while catching waves. I purchased it anyways. I surfed a 10’x31″ and I was totally surprised with the glide and stability of this board. I even took it for a spin in choppy conditions. I was pretty amazed how well it handled the chop. The Mana has a nice loose feeling on the face yet going from rail to rail its very responsive and digs in when you want it too. Its light weight makes it nice for walking across the beach without getting finger cramps. The handle helps as well with its recessed grip. I recommend this board to people around 200 LBS that are looking for a shorter performance board that is shorter than 9’0″ yet stable enough to surf in chop.
