The second stop in the first leg of the Stand Up World Tour was held in the beautiful coastal town of Anglet, in Southwest France, May 8-16.

On May 29th, a high-speed SUP race called “Night Flight” will be held in an 800-meter arena in Berlin.

On May 15th, an 8-mile downwind stand-up paddle competition was held on Maui.

From May until September, Naish will travel around Holland showcasing their latest boards and paddles, in the Naish 2010 Beach Tour.

On July 30, Sweden’s best SUP paddlers will compete in Translovage, Varberg, in either a sprint (1 km) or a long-distance (5 km) race.

The latest Butterfly Effect was a great success! It was held on May 9th, in Chia, a town in southern Italy.

On May 1st and 2nd, the Spanish island of Fuerteventura was host to a downwind SUP race.

The Salt Water Festival has been a great success for SUP racing as well as Naish team riders.

On May 8th, Austria’s first ever ASUPA (Austrian Stand-Up Paddle Association) event was held at the Surf World Cup in the town of Podersdorf, on Lake Neusiedl.

In April of 2010, two of the world’s elite female stand-up paddlers, Naish team rider Jenny Kalmbach and Morgan Hoesterey, set out to cross the different open-ocean channels of the Hawaiian Islands.

The first of five Primi Naish SUP races was held in Durban, South Africa on May 1st.

Tahiti held its 5th Surf ski race on April 24th. Part of this race was a 17 km SUP race consisting of an Elite and Open division.

On May 8th, the 2nd Annual “King and Queen of Dogpatch” was held in San Onofre, California.

Coastal Urge put on the 2nd Annual Intracoastal SUP Cup on May 15, near Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina.

Andrew Doheny clinched the Oakley Pro Junior, his first ASP Pro Junior victory, over a stacked final field including reigning ASP North America Pro Junior Series Champion Nat Young (Santa Cruz, CA), 18, Dylan Goodale (Kauai, HI), 19, and Tyler Newton (Kauai, HI), 19.

The shop opened in 1993 as a hardware specialist and is now the biggest board/hardware store in the UK, stocking over 500 boards.
