Naish is pleased to announce that Aussie ripper Paul Jackson has joined our SUP team. If you have not yet heard of him, you will soon – Paul has an extensive track record that includes the Australian Wave Riding title for kiteboarding, 1st at the Bowen Classic, and 1st at the Coronet Classic (both kiteboarding). As for his achievements in Stand-up paddling: 2nd at the Coffs Harbour Nations 25 km race 2008, 2nd at the Seaway to Seaway 40 km race 2008, 4th at the Jever World Cup 10 km race Hamburg 2009, and 4th at the Jever World Cup 10 km race Hamburg 2009 just to name a few. His resume also includes television appearances on Fuel T.V. and Totally Wild, a movie role in 12X, and numerous magazine articles – Paul is definitely a man on the move!

Naish SUP and Paddle Board Race, Santa Barbara, California
Naish International is pleased to announce a Naish Stand-up paddleboard race on August 1st in Santa Barbara, California. This event runs 11 miles, starting at Goleta Beach (with the option of a shorter (3.5 mile) run that starts at Ledbetter Beach) and finishing at East Beach, and is open to riders of all skill levels. California, a historic center of the surf culture and home to numerous paddle boarding legends, is emerging as one of the hotspots of Stand-up Paddling. The event is attracting some serious talent, and Hawaiian waterman/Naish rider Dave Kalama will be coming directly from the Molokai Challenge to join the event and be available to answer questions and talk story about this exciting new sport.
